To celebrate the highly anticipated return of Squid Game, HudsonGray partnered with Netflix to host a thrilling, Squid Game-inspired 4.56K run in Los Angeles. Fans were immersed in the role of players, battling their way through challenges for the ultimate prize: an exclusive ticket to an advanced screening of the Season 2 premiere. Participants suited up in the show's signature green tracksuits. Those who completed the 4.56K run and survived the elimination tasks along the route were rewarded with the coveted screening pass. Before the race kicked off, Squid Game creator and stars walked the pink carpet and greeted the players at the opening ceremony. Lee Jung-jae (Player 456) and Lee Byung-hun (The Front Man) made special appearances, wishing everyone luck before they lined up at the starting line. Los Angeles Community College’s athletic field was transformed into the official 4.56K Run Headquarters. The grounds were swarming with pink guards, creating an authentic Squid Game atmosphere. Attendees had the chance to join in on the “Red Light, Green Light” game, sample delicious fare at a Korean Night Market, and snap selfies at themed photo ops. The epic event was an unprecedented fusion of Squid Game drama and fan interaction, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for fans eager to dive into the world of the show.
