To celebrate the launch of NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, Peacock, HudsonGray designed and produced the ‘Peacock Tree’ in Rockefeller Plaza. Weighing 15,000 pounds, the sculpture was 4 stories tall, 46 feet wide and had more than 11,000 LED lights. The ‘Peacock Tree’ lighting was featured on the Today Show with Al Roker.
In one of the biggest takeovers of Saturday Night Live’s Studio, 8H, HudsonGray designed and produced a high-tech presentation to launch the new streaming service. The transformation included over 1,000 square feet of LED screens, a full replication of SNL’s musical stage arches, gallery wall of talent imagery and a custom hallway tunnel installation for guest arrivals. The presentation included talent such as Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, the NBC News Team and performances by the Roots.
HudsonGray designed and produced the after party celebration, at the famous Rainbow Room at the top of Rockefeller Plaza. The design included custom bars, food stations and lounges to highlight the venues spectacular views.
